Dreamy Daylilies is located just south of Chatham, in the centre of South-Western Ontario.  we are about one hour from London, about one hour from Windsor and also about one hour from Sarnia.

We are open to visitors Friday through Monday, June 19th through August 17th between the hours of 9am and 5pm.  Should you wish to visit us at any other time, please call for an appointment.  Groups are welcome too but preferably by appointment on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

If you are planning on visiting – please remember that we are a farm – please wear appropriate footwear and please stay on the aisles.  This will help preserve your shoes and clothes as well as the plants.  Thank you!

Our plants are field grown and increase is accomplished by means of natural vegetative reproduction with subsequent clump division. We do not knowingly acquire tissue culture based cultivars.  We do not fertilize other than use a bit of sheep manure at initial planting.  Our pictures are taken in our fields without the use of camera filters or photoshop.  The exception here is that for new acquisitions (only found in “Display Only”) we will use pictures as provided to the AHS by the hybridizer until we are able to include one of our own.

Given our purchasing and growing practices, we believe our plants to be true to name.  Pictures are of the plants as they are in our gardens. Those performance characteristics noted on the individual cultivar pages are those as provided by the hybridizer to the AHS.  The only changes made to these characteristics by us, is pertinent to the Rebloom category where, we may have changed the registration trait “R” for reboom to a “D”.  This is an indication that the cultivar in question has displayed rebloom characteristics in our field.  That is not to say that it will always rebloom, nor is it saying that it will rebloom in your garden, simply that we have seen it rebloom in our field.

How to find us.

To find us, from the 401, take exit 90 (Communication Road) south toward Blenheim.  Just as you are entering the town, you will come to an intersection with Canadian Tire on the left and Sobey’s on the right.  This is Allison Line – turn right.  After about 1 km you will come to a Stop sign – this is Middle Line – turn right – we are the first house on the left, right after the train tracks.  Please turn into the first driveway after the tracks.  We look forward to seeing you!
